Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by to read this section, which hopefully answers all the questions you may have about raiding with RESET GAMING. This post will not apply to many of our existing members but if you are new to [RGC] Then this is the post for you. This is an amalgamation of three other posts on here regarding raiding issues and addresses all of the questions that people have been spamming in guild over the last 3 months. So here we go:
[RGCWoW] Mission Statement:
[RGC] Is Primarily a mature PVE raiding guild, we are not social/pvp/roleplaying/casual players. Which isn't to say that those who raid with us don`t enjoy the social side of [RGC], and that our vent is devoid of banter, far from it, all of our members are those that we all enjoy playing with i.e relaxed, chilled out people who like to have fun and down some bosses. There are plenty of guilds on chrommagus that cater for the social side of things, pvp, casual etc. We are not one of those, our purpose is to progress through the games content to see the "Endgame" of WoW as its designers intended.
Recruitment:
We are currently recruiting via this website ONLY, please do not ask for a guild invite in game. The only way to join is to post the template as seen in the "Apply to join RGC" post on these forums. Your applications will be read by one of our officers and you should have a response within 24-48 hours. If you are successfull in your application for your MAIN, then you may bring any of your alts into the guild as you wish to level up etc etc.
Your Main will remain on a "Trial Member" Basis for a Minimum of two weeks. At the end of this trial period, provided you display all the qualities we are looking for you can become a "Member" and be entitled to use of Guild Bank and other resources.
What Qualities do we look for?
- Relaxed - "FFS" People do not last long in RGC
- Communicative - Uses Vent/Forums and chats with other members
- Helpfull - If another guildy is in need and you are not busy, we would expect you to assist them.
- Mature - RGC officers and Leaders and 90% of its members are all adults, over 18. If your younger than this with a mature attitude thats fine with us.
Raid Times:
[RGC] Currently Raids Formally twice per week, on THURSDAYS AT 9.00 server time, and SUNDAYS at 7.00 Server time. We alternate the raids we do in the Guild Calender where people may sign up. Please note signing up is not a guarantee you will be picked for raiding, it just gives the officers an idea of numbers.
Please check your calender regularly as an idea of which raid will be happening when.
A lot of the core members of the guild, myself included, raid Informally nearly every day of the week, but the two days above are reserved for progress only.
Raiding Teams:
We currently have 1 core raiding 10 man team, which as soon as they have finished the 10 man runs, will be recruiting for 25s, competition for places on the progress team is tough so try and max out your gear before raiding with us.
Looting Rules:
Loot from Our Guild Raids will be given out to those who genuinely need from the MASTER LOOT system, whilst we dont operate a MT, MH Priority on Loot, or DKP, we will always offer loot to MAINSPECS first, over and above OFFSPECS. So the order would be
MAINSPEC (That you raid with) ---> OFFSPEC -----> DISENCHANTED/BOE (unwanted) ITEMS TO GUILD BANK.
Raiding outside of RGC:
You do not have to raid exclusively with RGC (and by that i mean a raid that has been organised by one of our raid leaders Lynq, Holy, Lomein, Iir, Ssorn, Averia, Mehewio.) However it is very unlikely that you would be coming to progress raids if you have got yourself saved with other runs on a regular basis. We understand that people like to gear up by running VOA pugs and some Naxxy.
Raids people are safe running outside of RGC if they still want to come with us on progress raids:
NAXX 10/25, VOA 10/25, OS 10/25, ONYXIA, ULD 25, TOC 25
You may recruit to these raids from the guild membership but NOT on a scheduled raid day.
Raids that will piss us off if you are saved outside RGC:
ULD 10. TOC 10.
And if you recruit for these two raids from RGC guild membership (and you are not an officer forming an official guild run) you will be gkicked, no warnings.
Officers of the guild:
IIR, LOMEIN, LYNQALOT, AVERIA, HOLYKITTY, MEHEWIO, SSORN.
Guild Bank:
Requests from the Guild bank can be made to myself and lynqalot when we are not in a raid, if the item is cheap and the guild bank is full of it, then we will help you out, if the item is expensive and the guild bank is sparse, then we will expect a small donation to the guild bank for the item (usually about 50% of the AH value) This is the general rule of thumb that myself and lynqalot play by, and we will apply it on an individual basis as we see fit.
Not Been picked to raid?
Could be for a number of reasons;
1. The raid setup we have doesnt suit your class.
2. We are trying new tactics
3. You are a TRIAL Member - Dont expect to join us and be raiding progress raids in the first 2 weeks.
4. You are not online in the evenings. Official RGC Raids will take place in the evenings i.e after 7/8 server time, 100% of the time, as most of the guild work and have other commitments during the day.
If you have been with us for a number of weeks, are chilled, use vent and forums, and still havent raided with us then please give me, lynq or one of our officers a whisper and talk to us, do not spam negative comments in Guild Chat unless you want to join another guild.
