Hello guys, you may have heard some rumours regarding the potential merging of RGC WoW with other guilds. Let me address some of those issues.

1. RGC will not be absorbed into any other guild no matter how progressed, we have a strong member base and excellent 10 man progress, RGC Will always remain RGC.

2. If another guild wishes to merge with us, they will come into RGC and be subject to our rules, tactics, procedures, and their ranks upon entry will be agreed by our existing officers.

So those two points addressed, We have been approached by Savory Deviate Delight and Grey Dye for potential mergers. At the moment, We intend to run 25s with Savory in the short term as we do not have the full compliment of 25 dedicated raiders and nor do they. However for the long term, and because we want to progress on our own terms, we will have to decide if we really should focus on gaining our own 25 man team.

Grey Dye, are having a lot of problems at the moment and would like to merge with us to create a new guild capable of running 25 man hc content. I have spoken to their Guild leader, and While this content is desirable to us, as they would be the ones instigating and leading the new guild, the controll, play time, raider selection, ranks etc would all be decided by them, which is unacceptable to a soveriegn guild such as ourselves. So for the moment, ex-grey dye players are welcome to apply to RGC, but I dont see anything further happening here.

One thing you should all be proud of is the level of progress RGC have made in the last few months, from Naxx content all the way up to hardmode toc, and testament to that the fact that other guilds know and are interested in us. Well done to everyone and best of luck for the upcoming ICECROWN content and all your shiny new gear drops and boss downings!

Great job RGC!

Thanks to Dare for being our contact between the guilds, he did a great job of getting the 25 man raid organised on Thursday.

Thanks for reading,

Ssorn.

Yes, the joint 25 runs are a good plan. There is still loads of gear in Toc25 that is useful (it also takes only an hour). Also though, as soon as possble we should start ICC 25man normal. Seeing as from the info around, heroic modes of ICC will not open until Lich King is down on normal. Meaning that there is at least a month until we can actually even think of trying any heroic modes. So any and all 264 gear we can get between that will be a huge help. (Even if it's just only the first boss every week, marks are marks).
